The kiss of death.
This astonishing sculpture forms part of Barcelona’s Poblenou Cemetery. The Kiss of Death (El Petó de la Mort in Catalan and El beso de la muerte in Spanish) dates back to 1930. A winged skeleton bestows a kiss on the lips of a handsome young man: is it ecstasy on his face or resignation? Little wonder the sculpture elicits strong and varying responses from whoever gazes upon it.
Salt Glitter
Mix 1/4 cup of salt with a 1/2 teaspoon of food coloring in a small bowl until the salt is uniformly colored. Spread the mixture out in an even layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for ten minutes at 350. Allow your homemade glitter to cool before using it or storing it. And that’s it!:)

OH MY GOD
ALL MY WITCHY DREAMS
I’ve got an Om Nama Shivaya chant going on quietly next to me at work. It’s helping to dispel some of the negative crap floating around in my brainpan right now. <3
Athena by Redheaded-step-child
Athena is my great Matron Goddess (should be patron but i say matron). She is the Goddess of Wisdom, Weaving, Tactics and Righteous Warfare. Because she had lost her left eye in war she has an all seeing owl with her at all times. She bares in her shield engraved the head of Medusa the Gorgon which was given to her from Perseus. She is also one of the 3 Virgin goddesses along with Hestia and Artemis. Athena was seen in today we’d consider a symbol of feminism, her shrines and temples were often decorated with depictions of her triumphing Poseidon, she submits or bows down to no man other then her father Zeus. She was the Patron goddess of many Greek Heroes and because she was seen as a “masculine” woman or in todays standard androgynous, she was considered “aunt” like as she fostered many people.
Not familiar with any myth where Athena lost an eye, but reblogging because - Athena. Also, artwork.

Hestia is an Olympic virgin fire goddess of the hearth, home, domestic matters, and family. She was from Kronos, a deposed Titan-king of the Gods, and Rhea, a former Titan-queen of the gods. Her attributes include fire-places, sacred flames, heating and warmth, kitchens, the kettle, and her sacred animal was perhaps swine. She favors the protection of the sanctity of the home.
